The Champions League is the ultimate spectacle in club football.
Over the years, the Champions League has seen some iconic kit designs. Think Cristiano Ronaldo in the 2016/17 purple Real kit, or Barcelona’s perfect home shirt of 2010/11.
Every season, the kit designers are in a battle of their own – fighting for aesthetic supremacy, competing to deliver instant classics.
These are ten of the best kits of the 2025/26 campaign.
10. Barcelona Home
An example of how to successfully balance tradition with modern style.
Nike’s gradient twist on the blaugrana stripes manages to modernise without mangling a classic.
We’re always fans of a colour-coded sponsor; the yellow Spotify logo complements the club crest and Nike tick beautifully.
9. Benfica Home
A reminder that simplicity still wins.
No nonsense, no gimmicks.
Just a clean red shirt, proper collars and the confidence of a club that doesn’t need a flashy design.
A timeless design befitting European royalty.
8. Inter Away
Snowflakes and symbolism – only Nike could make that look tough.
The white shirt dotted with blue frost patterns is a nod to both the club’s inclusive roots and the upcoming Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
On paper, that’s corporate nonsense. On the pitch? Surprisingly stunning.
If Inter make it past the quarters, this could be remembered as a modern classic.
7. Sporting Home
Never change, Sporting.
Green and white hoops are football heritage, and Nike have done the right thing – left them alone.
It’s nostalgic, clean and nostalgic enough to make you think of the heydays of Figo, Ronaldo and Nani.
A kit that carries weight without needing reinvention.
6. Galatasaray Home
Consistency is king.
Galatasaray’s red-and-orange split is as recognisable as the Süper Lig’s chaos, and this year’s version keeps that proud tradition alive.
It’s fiery, bold, and unapologetically Galatasaray – much like their frightening home atmosphere.
Osimhen’s been tearing through Europe in it; just as Hakan Şükür and Burak Yılmaz did before him.
5. Copenhagen Away
Full kudos to Adidas for this modern classic.
Adidas has pulled off a masterpiece here, a shimmering silver map design tying Copenhagen’s past and present together.
The Danish team reached the round of 16 in 2023/24 in a run that featured a memorable 4-3 victory over Manchester United, and yet it is this kit that might represent the club’s best legacy on the European stage to date.
4. Arsenal Third
The Highbury nostalgia continues to cash cheques.
A white-and-red third kit, retro cannon badge and old-school trefoil logo; Adidas understood the assignment.
Appreciate it whenever it is worn; third strips don’t see much daylight.
If Arsenal go on to win either or both of the Premier League and Champions League, this will go down as a hall-of-famer.
3. Liverpool Away
Liverpool and green – a love story that keeps on giving.
Adidas dips back into the archives, delivering a ‘90s throwback that screams Barnes and Beardsley.
Minimalist, nostalgic and elegant, it’s the sort of shirt that could easily feature in a European epic at Anfield.
If Slot’s side can match the shirt’s quality, we’re in for a show.
2. Ajax Away
No club blends culture and design like Ajax.
The 750th anniversary of Amsterdam is captured perfectly in a swirling blue graphic inspired by the city’s canals.
Another trefoil badge, another hit of nostalgia.
1. PSG Away
The perfect blend of nostalgia and modern style.
This away kit is pure nostalgia – a crisp rework of their 1990s classic, framed around the Eiffel Tower silhouette.
It’s bold, it’s elegant, it’s Paris in a nutshell.
An instant classic – the best kit for the best team in the competition.
